OBITUARY
John Steven Gruben
Bonham- Memorial services for John Steven Gruben, 66, of Bonham, Texas
will be at the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham, Texas at
2:00 on Saturday, September 9, 2017. Visitation will be prior to the
service starting at 1:00pm. Bro. Jarrod Hudson will officiate. Mr.
Gruben passed away peacefully on September 5, 2017 at his home in
Bonham, Texas.
He was born on October 24, 1950 in Crosbyton, Texas. John was the son of
Matthews and Jeanne (Anderson) Gruben. He was self-employed as a ceramic
tile contractor and took pride in his craft. He was a man of many
talents. He built a beautiful home for his family, a workshop where he
built furniture and if you knew him you would probably have a “wire man”
on your car. John married JoAnn Karseno on December 30, 1977. He was a
member of the 7th and Main Baptist Church.
John Gruben is survived by his wife JoAnn (Karseno) Gruben; daughter
Lisa Seigler and husband Adam; brother, Matthews Gruben and wife
Kathleen. He is preceded in death by his parents.
