OBITUARY

Rites Planned For Mrs. Hale

Mrs. W. K. Hale, 79, Dallas County resident since 1882, died Sunday at her home, 2402 Stutz Drive.
The former Miss Elizabeth Riehn, she came as a child with her family from Gilman, Ill., her birthplace. The family settled in Farmers Branch.
Later, she married W. K. (Buck) Hale, then a deputy sheriff, and moved to Dallas. Hale, now retired, survives his wife.
An active, cheerful woman, Mrs. Hale took great pride in her flower garden. A special hobby was raising flowers from cuttings and giving the cuttings from them to friends and relatives.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the George A. Brewer Funeral Chapel, 3603 Ross. The Rev. H. R. Welch will officiate. Burial will be in the Rien family cemetery at Farmers Branch.
Pallbearers will be D. P. Hale, Arthur Detrick, Clyde Welsh, Paul LaRoache, Jack Horn and W. D. McGinnis.

Mrs. Elizabeth, passed away at residence, 2402 Stutz, Sunday. Survived by husband. W. K. (Buck) Hale, Dallas: a number of nieces and nephews. Services Tuesday 10 a.m. George A. Brewer Funeral Chapel, 3603 Ross. Rev. H. R. Welch officiating. Interment Reihn (sic) Cemetery, Farmers Branch Texas. Pallbearers: D. P. Hale, Arthur Dietrick, Clyde Welsh, Paul  LaRoache, Jack Horn, W. D. McGinnis. Private parking in rear of chapel.
