OBITUARY
 
Dr. Harold Hugh Harless

Harold (Hal) Hugh Harless, 66, of Argyle, TX. passed away on February 1, 2020 in Las Colinas Tx. Hal was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Robert and Elizabeth Ann (Chambers) Harless on October 6, 1953. He graduated from R. L. Turner High School Carrollton, Tx. in 1971. He was married twice, first to Cynthia Gordon on August 23, 1980 in Dallas, Tx and secondly to Lois Dela Rosa in 2002 in California. He had a number of jobs in his life ranging from computer operator to programmer but he enjoyed his last two the most, teaching at Willow Bend Academy and serving as a Pastor at Foundation Fellowship of Greenville, Tx. He held a Bachlors of Arts degree in Germanic Languages, Literature's, and Linguistics, a Masters of Science degree in Management Information Systems as well as a Doctor of Theology PhD. in Systematic Theology from Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary, and he was a published author.

Hal is preceded in death by his father & mother Robert & Elizabeth Harless and his second wife Lois Harless. Hal is survived by his1st spouse Cynthia Gordon, and their son Josh Harless and wife Melinda with their children Brady & Moira, sister Edna Krueger and husband Mike, along with brothers Larry Harless and wife Danette & Mark Harless and wife Kathryn, two step daughters Maria Estes and children & Rachel Buchanan and children. All totaled Hal had 15 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on February 8, 2020 at 740 S. Edmonds Ln, Lewisville TX. 75067, with the Rev. Rob Granados of Calvary Chapel Flower Mound, officiating. Arrangements are by Mulkey Mason Funeral Home.

The family of Harold Harless wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all the medical and nursing home staff who cared for Hal and to all his friends and church family who held him in prayer.
