OBITUARY AGED MAN IS FOUND DEAD
Body of John Harrington Is Taken from Mudhole Four Miles from
Farmers Branch
The dead body of John Harrington, aged about 66 years, who resided about
two miles west of Farmers Branch, was found about 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon
in the river bottom about four miles south of Farmers Branch.
Mr. Harrington was last seen going in that direction last Saturday afternoon. It
is not thought that there was any foul play in connection with this death. His
body was found in a mud hole. His buggy was found near by but the horse was not
found in the neighborhood. The Sheriff's office here was notified and Deputy
Sheriffs T. E. Padgett and John Chiesa went out to the Farmers Branch
neighborhood and together with Special Deputy Henry Bradhurst of Farmers Branch,
made an investigation. They said no sighs of foul play were discovered.
The body was taken to this home where he had resided alone, and turned over to
his son-in-law, Ott Needham, and other relatives who reside at Addison.
