OBITUARY

W. J. Harris Dies

W. J. Harris, familiarly known to his many friends as Jack Harris, died Monday night, after a long lingering sickness, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Cromer, parents of Mrs. Harris.
Jack Harris was born in Vilonia, Arkansas, forty four years ago but has resided in this place and vicinity for many years.
He took as his bride Miss Parthena Cromer, August 31, 1915, and to them two daughters were born and with the mother survive to mourn the departure of a loving father, Mr. Harris was a member of the Methodist church and in that church on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 funeral services were held Rev. D. A. Ross assisted by Rev. W. T. Lovell of Trenton a former pastor here, conducting the services. Interment was made in the Forest Lawn cemetery. The wife and two daughters, Juanita aged 13 and Doris aged 10, are left to mourn the departure of the husband and father.
