Robert "Dutch" Harrison
May 18, 1932 - December 18, 2017

Harrison, Robert "Dutch"
Robert Lee “Dutch” Harrison, born May 18, 1932 in Farmers Branch, TX, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2017.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life and wife of 62 years, Millie Harrison. Loving dad to Vicki and son-in-law Jerry Conway,
Diana and son-in-law John Kasa. Best pampaw in the world to Casey and Colby Conway, and Kelli Jones. Dutch retired from Briggs-Weaver
in 1994 after 44 years of service. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and was based in Thule, Greenland.
He loved all sports – playing football, basketball and baseball (all-district) in high school. He was the head basketball coach for First Baptist Carrollton
for 10 years, leading them to two state championships. Dutch ran the scoreboard for R.L. Turner High School football games for 35 years.
He served as President of the Dallas County Umpires Association and the Carrollton Quarterback Club. He also served on the Carrollton Parks & Recreation Board.
Dutch was a quiet man, never complained, and was always willing to help others. He always had a smile on his face and had an impact on everyone he met.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, from 6pm – 8pm at North Dallas Funeral Home. Dutch’s celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at 11 am at North Dallas Funeral Home 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, TX 75234.

Internment immediately following the service at Hilltop Cemetery
