OBITUARY
 
Harold Leonard Hartline
NOVEMBER 5, 1926 – JUNE 30, 2023

Harold L Hartline was born on November 5, 1926 in Dallas, TX and passed away on June 30, 2023 in Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bette L. Hartline. They were married for sixty-seven years and were truly devoted.

He is survived by children: Diana Parker and her husband John, Steve Hartline and his wife Susie and Pam Byers and her husband Tom; grandchildren Ken Parker and his wife Tresh, Lindsey Hartline and partner Charlie Steward, Allison Nichols and her husband Chris and Ryan Hartline and partner Janelle Reyes; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Abigail, Matthew, Conner, Harper, Layla, Leah and other loving family and friends.

While Harold didn’t refer to himself as a Veteran, he entered the Army in March 1945 in basic training but was honorably discharged in November of the same year as the war ended without his being deployed.

After graduating from the University of North Texas majoring in Business Administration, Harold spent his entire career as an accountant for Texaco where her remained until he retired after over 40 years.

Harold was a charter member of Bear Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed serving in various ways including being a deacon, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, participating in vacation bible school and other missionary works.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Bear Creek Baptist Church at 5901 N. Fry Road, Katy, Texas 77449 on Friday July 7, 2023 at 2Pm. Service will be broadcast from https://live.bearcreek.church/ The family will gather for a private graveside service prior to the memorial service.

Memorial contributions in his honor in lieu of flowers may be directed to Bear Creek Baptist Church. We hope you will say a prayer for him as he is united with his Lord.
