Roberta Maxine Harvey
Roberta Maxine Harvey passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, in Tyler.
Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Central Park Baptist Church, 1005 Jackson Road, Carrollton. Interment: Hilltop Cemetery, Carrollton. Viewing: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Metrocrest Funeral Home, 1810 North Perry, Carrollton.
Maxine was born Jan. 31, 1939, in Eunice, N.M. A former resident of Kennedale for 41 years, she was currently residing in Martin's Mill. Maxine lived life to the fullest and made everyone she was around enjoy life with her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Althea Gard.
Survivors: Sons, J.D. Harvey and wife, Layna, of Flower Mound, Tony Harvey and wife, Paula, Martin's Mill, Todd Harvey and wife, Wendy, of Midlothian; daughter, Deb Gamble and husband, Herman, of Grand Cane, La.; sister, Norma Slayton and husband, Bill, of Carrollton; brother, Bobby Gard and wife, Rachel, of Odessa; sister, Cordellia Gard of Carrollton; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, nieces; nephews; and a host of friends.
