Obituary of Calvin Wayne Havens
“Working hands are now at rest.” Calvin Wayne Havens, 69, passed away
September 15, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. He was born January 15, 1949 to
Bill and Mildred Havens in Jackson, Mississippi. Calvin graduated from
Carrollton High School and spent his working years in construction. He
enjoyed reading, fishing, telling stories and playing games such as
solitaire, dominoes and trips to the casino. Calvin is preceded in death
by his parents and granddaughter, Anna Marie Silvertooth. He is survived
by his children, Christy Havens of Mineral Wells, Texas, Kevin Havens
and wife, Karyn of Dallas, Texas and Matthew Silvertooth and wife,
Christina of Alvord, Texas; grandchildren, Rian Parris and J.C. Parris;
siblings, Glenn Havens and wife, Mary of Dallas, Texas, Donna Davis and
husband, Clyde of Madill, Oklahoma and Sue Talley and husband, Jimmy of
Mineral Wells, Texas; grandchildren, Shannon and Amber Wensmann and
Patrick Charles and Sierra Lykinn as well as numerous nieces and
nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 22,
2018 at 11:00am at Gospel Light Baptist Church, 601 Country Club Parkway
Mineral Wells, Texas 76067. In lieu of flowers please make donations to
St Jude children. |
