Survived by wife, Mrs. Montie Hawkins, Coppell; sons, William Eldred Hawkins, Dallas; Raymond Hawkins, Coppell; daughters, Mrs. Montie Alice Jenkins, Mrs. Betty Louise Davis, both of Coppell; brothers, J. D. Hawkins, Richard H. Hawkins, Ted Hawkins; sister, Mrs. Viola Rhodes all of Dallas; 14 grandchildren. Services were held Friday at 10:30 in the First Baptist Church, Coppell, with Rev. A. L. Perry and Rev. ray Hand officiating. Interment was in Perry Cemetery. Pallbearers were nephews with Rhoton, Weiland-Merritt Funeral home in charge.
