OBITUARY
Glenn
Hawley, 76, of Oklahoma City, OK passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024
in his home. Glenn is survived by his daughter, Debra Hawley Tabor and
Bobby Williams of Texas, Son Dean Hawley and wife Krissy of Alabama.
Grandchildren; Shane Hawley and wife Karissa, Jessica Hawley, Ava
Hawley, Malorie Tabor, Kyle Tabor. Great Grandchildren; Natlie Hawley,
Calab Hawley, Nick Hawley, Layla Hawley and Kalani Hawley. Brother,
Kieth Hawley of Colorado, sister, Kathleen Sonntag and husband Kenny of
Texas. Nephew, Clayton Hawley and wife Michelle, Niece, Kristina
Kendrick and husband George. Great nephews Ethan Kendrick, Jack Kendrick
and great niece Makayla Hawley. Glenn is preceded in death by parents
Ersil and Ethel Hawley, Nephew, Marty Hawley and Niece, Karley Sonntag.
Glenn joined the US Navy following his graduation from R.L. Turner High
School. He served 4 years as a MM3 on board the USS Neosho and the USS
Alstead. He received an Honorable discharge in 1969. After his service
in the US Navy, he studied and became an Industrial Electrical Planner,
where he worked for various industrial companies throughout his career
until he retired in 2009. He enjoyed fishing and boating and took every
opportunity to take his nieces and nephews out on the lake or go
fishing. Glenn will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A gathering to celebrate Glenn's life for friends and family will be
1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2024 in the Community Commons Room, Frisco
