James Rodney Hayes James Rodney Hayes was born May 3, 1957 and went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 52 years of age. He was preceded in death by his Father, James Roland Hayes, his Father-in-law A. C. Polk, Mother-in-law, Estelle Polk and his brother-in-law Ted Polk. Rodney is survived by his loving wife Artis Polk Hayes of 33yrs of Farmers Branch, his daughter Chrystal Faith Hayes of Allen and his son James Randall "Randy" Hayes of Allen. By his Mother, Wanda Hayes of Dallas. By his sisters; Sharon Griffith & husband Curtis of Denton; Marsha Bonneau & husband Shannon of Farmers Branch; Charlotte Pope & husband Mike of Carrollton; Michael Hayes & wife Audrey of Aubrey; sister-in-law Linda Polk of Carrollton, brother-in-law Ken Polk and wife Becky of Weatherford, Helen Zimba and by many nieces & nephews, great nieces & great nephews and extended family. He was a believer and disciple of Jesus the Son of God as his Lord and Savior. In lieu of flowers, Rodney's family requests that donations be sent to Christian Relief Fund , P.O. Box 19670, Amarillo , Texas 79114-1670 or Namikango Mission, P.O. Box 21, South Houston, TX 77587-0021. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 30th at the Farmers Branch Church of Christ with interment in Hilltop Memorial Park.
