Funeral services were held Saturday, May 8, at the Carrollton Methodist Church for Francis Marion Hays, a resident of Carrollton for 65 years. He was born in Tennessee on Jan. 7, 1870 and was 78 years old at the time of his death.

The Revs. Robert Ridley and W. N. Vernon Officiated at the service. Interment in charge of Rhoton Funeral Home was in Perry cemetery.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Emma Wood of Frisco, Texas, and two grandchildren, Robert and Delaine Hays of Carrollton.
