OBITUARY

Mrs. Hazelwood Dies

Mrs. Emma Hazelwood of Addison died at her home there Monday noon, March 12, 1934, aged 49 years. Mrs. Hazelwood died on her birthday, having been born March 12, 1885. Her husband preceded her in death in 1919. They had lived on a farm near Addison and in 1918 moved into town where the husband died the following year. Mrs. Hazelwood has resided there ever since.

She is survived by three children; two daughters, Mrs. C. O. Seabolt and Miss Mary Hazelwood, one son, Jess Hazelwood; and one granddaughter, Annell Pennington. Her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Simmons of Hebron, and seven sisters and five brothers survive her. The brothers and sisters are: Mrs. H. K. Pistole of Addison; Mrs. Lou Waggoner, Mrs. A. A. Moss, Charlie and J. D. Simmons of Dallas; Ray Simmons of Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. E. B. Dudley of Plano; Mrs. J. L. Holbert; Mrs. W. R. McMurry, Barney, Bernice, and Miss Alta, and Miss Ethel Simmons all of Hebron.

Funeral services Tuesday at 2 o'clock p.m. in the Baptist church at Addison, of which she was a member, Rev. Clendenning conducting the services, and interment was in the Perry Cemetery at Carrollton. Pallbearers were: Gus Marcy, Earl Gravley, Clarence Lewis, Edwin Lewis, Carson Colloway, Lewis Collinsworth. Rhoton Undertaking Company morticians.
