In Memory of Sammie Lee (Davis) Henderson February 2, 1924 - December 8, 2011 Sammie Lee Henderson SAMMIE LEE HENDERSON was born to the parentage, of the late Sam and Roberta Davis on February 2, 1924 in Dallas, Texas. To this union three children were born, one brother and one sister all preceded her in death. She later relocated to Carrollton, Texas where she joined Simms Chapel Church. She united in holy matrimony with Robert Lee Henderson, Sr. She was preceded in death by her late husband Robert Lee Henderson Sr. and two children Robert Lee Henderson Jr. and Arthur Ray Henderson. She leaves to cherish her memories, one granddaughter Kristine Henderson of Coppell, Texas and one grandson Arthur Hadley of Waco, Texas; two great grandchildren Christopher Henderson and Brandon Henderson both of Phoenix, AZ; two nieces, Mae Duffey and Roberta Montgomery of Dallas, Texas; one nephew, Frankie Hutchison of Dallas, Texas; and she also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place on Monday, December 12, 2011 from 4 - 5 pm at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, Texas. The Funeral Service will also be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 11 am with interment to follow at Hilltop Memorial Park in Carrollton, Texas.
