John Patrick Henry

John Patrick Henry, age 57, was born in Dallas, Texas at Baylor Hospital on April 22, 1966. He passed away Monday, February 19, 2024 in Sherman, Texas.

John and his treasured wife, Kimberly, lived in Denison, Texas. He attended Mary Immaculate School and Jesuit Prep School; and graduated from RL Turner High School in Farmers Branch. John worked for Lankford Roofing and Construction, LLC and was an extremely hard worker. He was a loyal friend, wonderful husband, great Dad, and proud Papa. He loved God, his wife and family, the Dallas Cowboys, animals, and nature. He was very funny, smart, had hustle, and could read people well. This is a huge loss for those who know John because of the great love he had for people.

Left to cherish his memory are his best friend and wife, Kimberly Henry (Frazier); his very loved son, Russell Henry of Austin Texas; as well as his beloved stepchildren, Markayla, Makenzie, and Jeremiah Brown. John was loved and adored by his cherished grandkids, Ly-Bertii, Kaysen, Lya and Jaiha Delmast.

He also leaves behind his precious Mom, Dolores "Dodie" O'Brien and loved stepdad, James "Jim" O'Brien of Austin, Texas. John also leaves his sister and friend, Sheila Henry of Austin, Texas, his beloved stepsister, Laura Clanton, of Lindale, Texas, and dear stepbrother, James "Jimmy" O'Brien of Dallas, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Wayne Henry and beloved stepson, Jamarcus Brown. He is praising the Lord and making a joyful noise!
