Obituary
Erica Nicole Hernandez was born October 12,1981 in Dallas, Texas, the
mother of Julianna Marie Hernandez and daughter of Margaret Ann Martinez
and step daughter to Gilbert Puente. She entered into rest on September
4, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. She was raised in Dallas and Lewisville, TX
where she graduated from Newman Smith High School in Carrollton, TX,
class of 2000. Erica wholeheartedly cherished her big family. She is
survived by her grandparents, Joe and Virginia Martinez and aunts and
uncles, Sylvia & Lester Simon, Yolanda & Gerald Cristan, Josie Martinez
and Thomas & Gabriela Martinez, along with many of her loving cousins.
Erica will be remembered for her sense of humor, big bright contagious
smile and personality that would light up any room. Erica, along with
her beautiful daughter, Julianna, and her family, participated in 5k
marathons to help support Breast Cancer Awareness and Wipe Out Kids
Cancer. The Martinez Family invites you to remember and celebrate the
life of Erica. Services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016 at
10:00 am at the North Chapel of Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy
Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220. Reception to follow at The Knights of
Columbus / Springlake Center located at 2280 Springlake Road, Ste. 100,
Farmers Branch, TX 75234. |
