OBITUARY

Memory of
John Paul Hess
August 16, 1946 - July 10, 2017
John P. Hess, 70, of Frisco, Texas passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017,
at his home after a long illness.His wife and daughters were at his
side. Funeral Services will be held at Rhoton Funeral Home in
Carrollton, Texas on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. Tim
Morrison officiating. Burial will follow at
Hilltop Memorial Park
in Carrollton.
John was born on August 16, 1946 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Otto Hess,
Jr. and Carol Schultz Hess. He is survived by his wife of 49 years,
Barbara; his two daughters and their spouses, Teresa and Andy Hawk ,
Kelly and Mark VanderLinden, also by four grandsons, Logan Hawk, Ethan
Hawk, Jacob VanderLinden and Nicholas VanderLinden.
By his sister and her spouse, Mary and Zeke Loeck, Jr. and their two
sons Mark and Mike.
After graduating from high school, John served in the U.S. Army from
1966-1968. He met his wife in Dallas in 1967, and they married in
Farmers Branch in 1968. He was avid Green Bay Packers and Texas Rangers
fan. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a zest for life. He retired
from Hi Light Industries in Carrollton after 28 years.
John was loved by his family and Friends. |
