OBITUARY

RUBY HICKS
WINNSBORO - Services for Ruby Mozelle Hicks, 86, Winnsboro, are
scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Beaty Funeral Home, Winnsboro, with
Ken Hinkley officiating.
Burial will be in Kennan Cemetery in Carrollton.
Mrs. Hicks died April 6 in a Winnsboro hospital.
She was born Jan. 19, 1917, in Johnson County to Major Copeland and Mary
King Hicks. She was a retired pastry cook for Dallas Independent School
District and a member of Church of Christ in Winnsboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bedford Hicks Dec. 6,
1978, son, Kenneth Hicks, and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sons, Johnny Lee Hicks, Winnsboro, and Gary Wayne
Hicks, Royse City; sister, Helen Williams, Hutchins; 15 grandchildren;
23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Tyler
