MARIETTA - Daisy F. Hitzelberger, 88, of Marietta, died on Thursday, May 28,
2009, in Hughes Springs. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 1, at
Farmers Branch Cemetery in Farmers Branch, under the direction of Reeder-Davis
Funeral Home, Inc., with the Rev. Ron Dyess officiating
Mrs. Hitzelberger was born on April 18, 1921, in Denton County, to Charles and
Emily Ferrell. She lived most of her life in Marietta. She was a loyal Baptist.
She is survived by one daughter, Sherry, and her husband Bud Bluethman of
Dallas; two sons, Robbie and his wife Marie Hitzelberger of Cedar Creek, and
Chris Hitzelberger and his fiancé Judy Morrow of Hughes Springs; one brother,
Charles Ferrell; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Charles H. Hitzelberger.

Graveside services for Daisy F. Hitzelberger, 88, of Marietta, were held June 1
at Farmers Branch Cemetery with the Rev. Ron Dyess officiating. Interment was
under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home Inc.
Mrs. Hitzelberger as born April 18, 1921, in Denton County to Charles and Emily
Ferrell and died May 28 at a Hughes Springs nursing home. She lived most of her
life in Marietta, and she was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Charles R. Hitzelberger.
Survivors include one daughter, Sherry and her husband, Bud Bluethman of Dallas;
two sons, Ronnie and his wife Marie Hitzelberger of Cedar Creek, and Chris
Hitzelberger and his finance, Judy Morrow, of Hughes Springs; one brother,
Charles Ferrell; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Theron
Grainger Nursing Home in Hughes Springs and the staff of Texas Home Health and
Hospice of Longview for their continued support and care during her illness.
