OBITUARY
HODGES, HELEN JOYCE
Krugerville - Helen Joyce Hodges, 76, of Krugerville, died on Wednesday, April
9, 2008. She was born on November 2, 1931 in Dallas to Bill and Gene Worley
Ahlfinger. She married Melford Hodges on September 10, 1948 in Carrollton. She
retired from Southwestern Bell after 36 years as a Telephone Directory
Supervisor. A funeral service will be on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 1:00 PM at
Slay Memorial Funeral Center, Ronald Ledbetter will officiate. Burial will
follow at Belew Cemetery, Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10,
2008 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband,
Melford Hodges of Krugerville, one daughter, Vickie Hodges of Oak Point and one
son, Gary Hodges of Farmers Branch. She is also survived by seven grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren.
