OBITUARY
 

THE PARIS NEWS, Jun. 18, 2003 HONEY GROVE, Neita Jean Hodges, 68, of Honey Grove died Monday, June 16, 2003, in Baylor Hospital in Richardson. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, in Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. L. R. Simons officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. She was born July 5, 1934, in Garland to Sammy Patterson Lesley and Oneita Fay McDowl. She married Kenneth Hodges on July 16, 1954, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 1999. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Sam Hodges of the home; three daughters, Lisa Monk of the home, Gayle Bostley of Allen and Shannon Spears of McKinney; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Kay Davis of Flower Mound.
