OBITUARY MRS. HOFFMAN DIES NEAR FARMERS BRANCH Mrs.
Hazel L. Hoffman, wife of Clint Hoffman, well known to Carrollton people
succumbed to pneumonia Tuesday morning at their home west of Farmers Branch. At
the time of her death every member of the family was down with influenza. Every
neighbor's house is said to have from one to several cases to nurse and
conditions are deplorable. Mrs. Hoffman leaves a husband and three children all
sick in bed unable to attend the funeral, which took place Wednesday at 12
o'clock. Interment was made at the
Farmers Branch cemetery, Bro. McRight officiating. Mrs. Hoffman was
28 years of age, a native of Missouri, and a devoted wife and mother. We are
informed a that a sister took the baby home in Ft. Worth.
Mr. Hoffman has our deepest sympathy in his bereavement and affliction.
