Johnnie Leon Hogans

Johnnie Leon Hogans, 54, of Carrollton died Monday after a long illness.

Mr. Hogans was born Jan. 17, 1947, in Denison. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War and retired from Daimler-Chrysler Parts Department Warehouse in Carrollton after 32 years' service.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Hogans of Carrollton; mother, Louise Hogans of Denison; grandmother, Gertrude Fulbright of Denver, Colo.; daughters, Marie Gibson of Richardson and Arnette Cox of Carrollton; son, the Rev. Artie Cox of Rockwall; sisters, Dwendolyn White of Dallas and Mary Howard of Duncanville; and five grandchildren, Albert D. Hogans Jr., Christopher Miller, Wesley Cox, Myeshia Cox and Arianna Cox.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Rhoton Funeral Home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
