OBITUARY HOLMES
JOHNNY, of Carrollton, Texas was born September 9, 1927 and passed away on
September 14, 2000 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was raised in the
Methodist Home in Waco, Texas and at the age of 18 he joined the air force and
served his country while stationed in Japan. He was a faithful member of
the Highland Baptist church. Mr. Holmes is preceded in death by one
brother and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jeanette
Holmes, daughters, Audrey Lee and husband, Andy Dutchover of Coppell and Joy
Adrene and husband Barry Brock of Dallas; one grand-daughter, Andra Brock, and
one step-grandson, Jordan Brock. Services for Mr. Holmes will be Saturday,
September 16, 2000 at 4:00P.M. at the Rhoton Funeral Home Chapel; Reverend Steve
Skinner officiating. Interment will follow at
Hilltop Cemetery.
