OBITUARY Fred D. Holt, Stock Farmer of Hebron,
Dies at 66 CARROLLTON, Texas - Fred Dryden Holt, 66, long-time
stock farmer of Hebron, Denton County, died Thursday of a heart attack there at
his ranch home.
Holt had lived at Hebron since 1916, raising cattle on his large land holdings
in the area. He was stricken after helping to load some cows for shipment from
his ranch during the morning.
He was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church and the Lewisville Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Fred D. Holt, Jr. of Hebron; a daughter,
Mrs.
Glenna Bell Schlegel of Lewisville; two brothers, Otis Holt of Bakersfield,
Calif., and Frank Holt of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. F. E. Skinner of Carlsbad,
N.M., and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Rhoton Funeral Home Chapel
in Carrollton. Burial will be in
Cemetery Hill near Hebron.
Graveside services will be conducted by his Masonic Lodge. The
