OBITUARY

HOPPE
Donald C., 57, passed away November 5, 1990, in Carrollton. Mr. Hoppe was born in Williamsville, N.Y., on February 3, 1933. He was President of Shaw Florist, Inc., past director of the Texas State Florists Association; past president of Allied Florists of Dallas and was named outstanding Florist of Dallas in 1980. He was a member of The American Institute of Floral Designers, American Academy of Floriculture and Professional Floral Commentators International in 1974, he participated in the Christmas decorating of the White House and in 1986, the Statue of Liberty Celebration and two Presidential Inaugural Celebrations for Reagan-Bush and Bush Quayle. Mr. Hoppe was also a member of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Rotary and the Dallas Rotary Chorus. He is survived by his wife, Martha Hoppe, Carrollton; sons, Gregg F. Hoppe of Dallas and Lamar Avery of Fort Worth; grandchildren, James Lamar and Justin Mills Avery of Fort Worth; brother, Robert Hoppe, Cordova, TN.; sisters, Thelma Fohl of N. Tonawanda, NY, and Beatrice Falbo of Toledo, OH. Services 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, 11-7-90, RHOTON CHAPEL Rev. Parker Cross officiating. Interment, Hilltop Memorial Park.
