A woman found dead in her Far North Dallas home Thursday was smothered, authorities said Friday. Police found the body of Carla Horton , 20, in her apartment in the 18200 block of Kelly Boulevard. Ms. Horton had been smothered with a pillow and also had bruises on her face and upper body, authorities said.
