OBITUARY INMATE OF SANITARIUM FOUND DEAD AND WITHOUT CLOTHING.
Bearing every indication that he had been dead for more than twenty-four
hours, the body of Conney Huens, 17 years of age, son of J. C. Huens of Farmers
Branch, was found yesterday morning by two negro women about one-half mile south
of Spring avenue, near the Texas & Pacific Railroad.
The women were walking through a field when they came upon the body, stripped of
all clothing. The dead youth was identified by strips of his clothing which were
found scattered about the ground. It was found also that the body and torn
clothing fitted the description of Huens, as a patient of a local sanitarium.
Young Huens was sent to the sanitarium in a demented condition some time ago and
was reported to be improving. He was given the freedom of the grounds and
Friday suddenly disappeared. There were no marks of violence on the body.
The body was taken in charge by the Welland Undertaking Company and the youth's
parents at Farmers Branch notified. Submitted by Edward Lynn Williams |
