dies
Tom Hughes, longtime producer and managing director of the Dallas
Summer Musicals who brought such stars as Katherine Hepburn and Richard Burton

OBITUARY HUGHES
TOM producer of the Dallas Summer Musicals since 1961. Graduate of North
Texas State University and recipient of an honorary doctorate and the
Distinguished Alumnus Award from the school. Recipient of the TACA
Excellence in the Arts Award and many other civic honors. Survived by wife, Anne
Kouri Hughes; children, Kenneth Thomas Hughes, Ryan Alexis Hughes, Kyle Elizabeth
Hughes, aunt Mrs. Ruby Aiello, all of Dallas; uncles, J. C. Bond, New Orleans,
LA; Walter Bond, Sr., Red Oak TX; numerous cousins. Memorials services,
Wednesday April 12, 1994 2:00 P.M. PRESTON HOLLOW PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH. Dr. Fain
Downs officiating. Private interment, Hillcrest memorial Park. Honorary
pallbearers, Gary Surratt, Ernest Laun, Mark Goldstucker, Ronnie Horowitz,
