OBITUARY

In Loving Memory
Kenneth William Infante
Apr 15, 1981 - Jan 23, 2023

Kenneth “Kenny” William Infante, age 41, of The Colony, Texas left the physical world for eternal salvation on January 23, 2023. Kenny’s beloved family and over 100 of his friends and colleagues gathered to cheer him on before he donated four vital organs, tissues, corneas and veins. His final act of service could impact up to 75 lives.

Kenny was born in Carrollton, Texas on April 15, 1981 to Ramon and Patty Infante. He had a larger than life personality from an early age and never met a stranger. He found his passion playing soccer and forming friendships that would last a lifetime. He graduated from Newman Smith High School (Go Trojans!) and earned a Division 1 soccer scholarship at Radford and Tulsa University, where he played forward usually at striker. After his soccer career ended, he focused on his studies and graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Advertising. Later he went back to school, earning his Master’s Degree in Education Policy and Leadership from Southern Methodist University. He found his calling in academia and loved working with his teachers and students as Assistant Principal at his alma mater, Newman Smith.

Family was always at the center of Kenny’s life. His parents led by example by hosting gatherings constantly, offering help to others and showing that these relationships take effort to maintain. He was a loving, dedicated father to his daughters Collyns and Finnleigh. After Finnleigh passed away suddenly in 2019, he garnered the strength to advocate for child water safety to ensure no other parent would suffer the same heartbreak he did. He formed Finnleigh’s Grace, a nonprofit creating awareness around this issue and importance of properly securing pool access from children.

Kenny was no wallflower. He commanded a room with his jokes, off the wall stories and infamous animal noises he created. His friends were also the center of his world, and he loved all of them in a big way. No one would ever say he would go quiet into the night. Kenny left this world a hero, and his Honor Walk was his own personal World Cup celebration.

Kenny is survived by his beloved daughter, Collyns Elise Infante, mother Patricia Ruth Infante, siblings Ramon Antonio Infante and Tacy Rae Infante, brother-in-law Marcus Krause, nephews Ericc Medardo Infante and Anthony Infante, niece Brynnley Elaine Krause, as well as a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.

Kenny was preceded in death by his daughter, Finnleigh Grace Infante and his father, Ramon Medardo Infante.

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship, 4141 International Parkway, Carrollton, Texas 75007, on Saturday, January 28, 2023, beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033.

In lieu of flowers, the Infante family would love for you to consider donating to Finnleigh's Grace or any foundation of your choice that promotes water safety. Learn more about how you can provide water safety for infants and children at the link here: https://finnleighsgrace.org/
