OBITUARY Bednago Isom, Resident of Hebron, Dies
Bednago Isom, 68, a former member of the Hebron school board and father of
W. B. (Jelly) Isom, chief clerk for Dist. Clerk Bill Shaw, died Sunday at a
Dallas hospital.
A native of Pulaski, Tenn., Isom moved with his parents to Lewisville at an
early age. He moved to Hebron in 1900 and was married to the former Miss Lela
Skiles of Carrollton in 1906.
He was a deacon of the Hebron Baptist Church. Isom had been a Dallas News
subscriber for forty years.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Hebron Baptist Church with
the Rev. C. N. Nation and the Rev. S. R. McClung officiating. Burial wll be at
Cemetery Hill.
Besides the son in Dallas, he is survived by his wie; a daughter, Mrs. Wesley
Kendrick of Plano, and three brothers, J. E. Isom of Denton, S. J. Isom of
Dallas and G. F. Isom of Carrollton.
