OBITUARY

Karen Jean Simmons James
Born June 30, 1948 in Meridian Texas and passed away February 26, 2008 in Farmers Branch at RHD after finding out she had cancer. A graduate of Glen Rose High School.
She was a cosmetologist for 36 years, worked at Kristina’s Plaza Salon in Carrollton for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles James Jr. and her parents Herschel and Hazel Simmons. Survived by daughter; Shana James and husband Charles Maples, son; Herschel James,
grandchildren; Gordon Brown Jr., Belinda Brown, Tristan James and Brittany Goff. Brother; Bobby Simmons, sister; Clarece Busby, mother-in-law; Clara Davis, sister-in-law; Viola Wood, and many friends and family.
Memorial Service held Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 1:00pm at Rhoton Funeral Home Chapel, in Carrollton.
