OBITUARY
Terri Macsas Johnson
Terri Macsas Johnson, 60, passed away in Carrollton, Texas, on Monday,
August 17, 2015.
Terri was born in Ada, Oklahoma, on October 17, 1954, to Clifford and
Darlene (Baker) Macsas. She grew up in Carrollton, Texas, and graduated
from Carrollton High School in 1973. She went on to receive her LVN from
Navarro College in 1982 and her RN from Tarleton State University.
She served those around her as a Registered Nurse for JPS and
Presbyterian Hospitals for over thirty years as an Emergency Room Nurse.
She also worked on the Disney Cruise Lines as an onboard RN. She was a
member of the Catholic Church in Denton. She enjoyed traveling and
spending time with her family.
She was a caring mother, grandmother and friend, and will be remembered
by all who were blessed to know her. Her memory will be cherished most
by her family, including her sons: Chris Payne and wife Charlene, Scott
Payne and wife Jeanine, and Joe Payne and wife Lindsey; step-son, Matt
Johnson; step-daughter, Jesse Johnson; her mother, Darlene Hallmark; six
grandchildren: Brittany Tignor, Marvin Tignor, Ethan Payne, Alexis
Payne, Amberly Payne and Anaston Payne; two brothers: Leslie Macsas and
Steve Macsas; along with one sister, Deborah Gilette. She is preceded in
death by her grandparents, her husband Clay Johnson, and her father.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at 11 a.m.
in the Denton Bible Church, 2300 E. University, Denton, Texas, with
Father Anthony O’Donovan officiating.
