OBITUARY Miss Mary Johnston
Funeral services for Miss Mary Johnston of 3317 Valley View Lane, a retired
Dallas piano instructor, will be held a t 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Covenant
Presbyterian Church in Carrollton. Burial will be in
Keenan Cemetery in Farmers
Branch. Miss Johnston, who died here Tuesday, was a charter member of
Texas State Music Teachers Association and a charter member of the First
Christen Church of Farmers Branch. She was a graduate of the Ferris
Institute, (Ellis County), in 1906. She also studied at Columbia University.
Survivors: A sister, Mrs. Alva Johnston of Dallas and two brothers, Ben
Johnston of Dallas and Bob Johnston of San Angelo. The Dallas Morning News
