Randy
Jones, 49, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Monday, May 13, 2013,
at home surrounded by his family. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at First
Baptist Church of Grapevine. Interment: Grapevine Cemetery. Visitation:
6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Home. Randy grew up in
Carrollton, graduating from Newman Smith High School where he played in
the orchestra. He was also involved with school photography. He met his
wife, Lora, in Carrollton where they had three children before moving to
Grapevine. They were active members of First Baptist of Carrollton and
then joined First Baptist Church of Grapevine. They owned Parcel Plus
Postal Center and a moving company in Grapevine for several years before
getting into construction management with Bullard Construction.
survivors: Wife of 23 years, Lora Jones; children, Joshua Jones,
Elizabeth Jones and Hannah Jones; brothers-in-law, Mark Yarbrough and
wife, Heather, and David Yarbrough and wife, Jennifer; father-in-law and
mother-in-law, Dr. John W. Yarbrough and wife, Becky; sister, Lori
Hennington and husband, Brian; brother, Chad Jones; parents, Clint and
Collette Jones; aunts, Mary Ann Sandusky and husband, Dr. George
Sandusky, Elaine McWhorter and husband, Wally, and Thelma Lee;
great-aunt, Johnie Bratton; cousins, Jonathan and Jeremy Kitchens, David
and Amy McWhorter, Joe Marshall and Lon Lee; and nieces and nephews,
Lexi Steakley, Sean Hennington, Zachary Jones, Andrew and Nathan
Yarbrough, Ava Yarbrough.
