Jordan, Ramona Dean Brandenburg

Ramona Dean Brandenburg Jorden of Duncanville passed away May 11, 2011. She was born July 24, 1929 in Dallas, Texas to C.L.& Bernice (Carroll) Brandenburg. A graduate of SMU, Mrs. Jorden taught junior high English in Duncanville for many years. An avid reader, she loved books as well as gardening, but mostly she was devoted to her family. Preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, W.C. Jorden in 2006, as well as her parents, and brother, Ben F. Brandenburg. She is survived by her daughter, Dena Jorden McCall; son, Richard Jorden & wife, Donna; grandchildren, Shiloh, Richard Lee, Charlene Neal & husband, Brandon, Matthew Michael McCall, Sam Polvado & wife, Leslie; 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service is 10 AM, Saturday, May 14, 2011 in the Chapel at First United Methodist Church, 206 W. Daniel, Duncanville. Burial follows at Little Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday, also in the Chapel at First United Methodist Church.
