WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENT

Ada Hoyle Hayes, Melvin J. Kahle Wed

Mrs. T. P. Hayes, 3616 Hanover, has announced the marriage of her daughter, Miss Ada Hoyle Hayes, to Melvin J. Kahle of Cedaredge, Colo. The wedding took place on Sept. 7 at the country home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Craig, Rogers Mesa, Colo.
Mr. Kahle served four years in the army during World War II, most of which time was spent in the Alaskan theater of operations. Mrs. Kahle is a graduate of SMU and has taught several years in the Dallas schools.
The bride and bridegroom will make their home in Cedaredge.

NEWS ARTICLE

Carrollton High Has New Journalism Club And Engineering Shop

CARROLLTON, Texas. Oct. 26. - A new journalism club is being formed and a farm engineering shop is being built as part of activities at the Carrollton High School.
Miss Ada Hoyle Hayes will be in charge of the journalism clib, principal aim of which will be to publish a school newspaper. There are about twenty members enrolled. C. C. Carver, superintendent said, and the group meets twice a week.
The farm shop is being installed the the vocational agriculture department. R. E. Soape is in charge.

HAYES
Mrs. Ada. passed away Wednesday in Harrison Ark.  Survived by daughter, Mrs. Melvin Kahle; son, Thomas P. Hayes Jr.; sisters, Mrs. Matt Moseley Sr., Mrs. Louie H. Berry, Mrs. Charles Osboone; two grandchildren; two great0grandchildren. Services Saturday 10 a.m. Ed C. Smith & Bro. Chapel, Rev Eugene B. Hawk officiating. Interment Hillcrest.
