LaWanda Watts Kegley, 71, passed away Monday, Feb. 2, 2009.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Thursday in Furneaux Cemetery in Carrollton. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Arlington Funeral Home. The family invites friends to join them in celebration of LaWanda's life by wearing colorful clothing, if possible.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Humane Society of North Texas, 1840 E. Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76103.
LaWanda was born Jan. 25, 1938, in Dallas to Lee F. and Carrie Watts.
Survivors: Daughter, Susan Grimes; sons, John and James Kegley; five grandchildren; and brother, Wesley Watts and his daughter, Sherri.
