Benjamin Joseph “BJ” Kelly he was May 22, 1976, in Dallas, Texas and passed away Feb 21, 2018, in Fort Worth, Texas. Ben is preceded in death by grandparents Martin J and Mary E Kelly; grandfather Francis Adrian Lynch and grandmother Billie Lucille Lynch Bethel Uncles Charles “Chuck” Lynch and Robert “Bob” Lynch.

Survived by Parents Cynthia Janan and John Kelly of Lewisville Texas, Sister and Brother in Law Megan Elizabeth and Stephen Bates, Nieces Lilly, Molly and Daisy Bates all of Carrollton Texas, Uncle Martin ‘Marty” Kelly and his wife Ann Kelly of Clearwater Florida, Uncle William “Mickey” Kelly and wife Judy Kelly of Frisco Texas, Aunt Rev. Rusti Moore and her husband Dr. Allan Moore of Magnolia, Texas, Aunt Martha Lynch of Mexia, Texas, Great Uncle and Aunt Cass and Sue Reasor of Burns City, Texas, eight first cousins and numerous other relatives who had a special place in their hearts for him.
BJ was a graduate of R L Turner High Scholl in Carrollton Texas and attended Brookhaven College in Farmers Branch. He is an Alumni of the Dallas Society for Crippled Children and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital benefiting from many of their services. He was an avid sports fan and memorabilia collector with a special affection for the Dallas Cowboys. Despite his physical limitations from Cerebral Palsy, BJ enjoyed his life to the fullest before succumbing to a deadly battle with pneumonia. His family would like to express their special gratitude to the Doctors and Nurses of Harris Methodist Southwest in Fort Worth for their caring treatment of BJ as well as the staff at Mirabella Assisted Living in Fort Worth.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Feb, 25th, 2018 from 1:30- 1:50 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Sunday Feb 25, 2018 at 2:00 PM at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home 13005 Greenville Avenue Dallas, Texas. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Online at Scottishritehospital.org
