SADLER – Charles “Buddy” Douglas Kimberlin; Born November 16, 1933
in Carrollton, Texas, Buddy passed away after a short illness February
20, 2011 at his home in Sadler. A graveside service will be held
Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery with
Dr. Rusty Waller officiating. All service arrangements are under the
direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas. There will be no
family visitation.
Buddy was a trucker by trade and worked for Commercial Metals in Dallas.
He moved to Sadler in 1977 and worked 17 years for Grayson County before
retiring. He was a bull rider in his younger days, and a hard working
man always. He enjoyed faming and was an avid gardener. Buddy was a
loving husband and well-loved by everyone who knew him. Family, Friends,
and neighbors will miss him immensely.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Kimberlin; daughter, Yvonne Rash;
three brothers, Claude Kimberlin, Jimmy Kimberlin, and Bobby Kimberlin,
and sister, Wanda Terry all from the Dallas area; step-daughter, Jackie
Woody and step-son, Jeff Smallwood; two grandchildren, Cody Summers and
Buddy Rash; two step-grandchildren, Wade Woody and Rusty Wood; numerous
nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Jay Cecil. Buddy is preceded in
death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Kimberlin.
Memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church of Gordonville. |
