OBITUARY

Asleep on Track; One Killed Another Injured

Ansel Kinder, 25, was killed early Sunday, about 4:55 a.m. when run over by a Frisco freight about two miles north east of here and near Alec Warner's place. Marvin Ferguson, 23, of Hebron, a companion, was taken to Parkland Hospital with injuries the extend of which could not be fully determined at the time. We understand, however, he was released soon afterwards and brought back to Hebron.
The young men had apparently left a freight train at Carrollton and were walking to Hebron, where young Kinder's sister, Mrs. Myrtle Hoskins lives. They sat down to rest and fell asleep. Both of the Kinders logs were cut off and he was badly mangled. He lived however till about 7 o'clock. His parents were reported to live at Tulia in West Texas. Funeral services were held at the Addison Methodist Church and burial took place in the Frankfort cemetery.
Furguson is a son-in-law of L. K. Belt of Hebron.
