Dr. John D. Kirby
Funeral services for Dr. John D. Kirby, 53, former professor of philosophy at Southern Methodist University, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in G. A. Brewer Cemetery, 3603 Ross.
Dr. James Detweilder, retired pastor of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, and Dr. Kenneth Mauldin, current pastor of the church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Webb Chapel Cemetery.
Dr. Kirby died Friday night following a heart attack.
