OBITUARY

Leo Kirby Dies
Leo Kirby died on Thanksgiving day at his home south of Farmers Branch, at Blue Bank, suffering from typhoid fever. Funeral services were held at the home at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 26; Rev's Duckett, Wright and Geo. Thompson conducting the services. Interment was in Perry Cemetery northeast of Carrollton. Rhoton Morticians.
Leo Kirby was born in Grayson county, Texas, Nov. 8, 1913 and, was at death 24 years and 17 days of age. His father came from Tennessee and his mother from Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, his mother, three brothers, Clarence, Frankie, and Ellis; three sisters, Tinie, Reta, and Ruby.
The Kirby family lived in this community for a number of years and are well known to our people. The sympathies of  our people are extended to the bereaved ones.
