OBITUARY
KUENSTLER,
Patricia Dr. Patricia "Pat" Ruth Kuenstler of Dallas, Texas, was a
beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, teacher,
co-worker, and child of God. She went home to be with her Lord and
Saviour, Jesus Christ, on November 16, 2021, at age 89, only 17 days shy
of her 90th birthday. Pat was born to Emmett and Bernadean Wyche on
December 3, 1931. Pat was a life-long learner and teacher. After
graduating from Hot Wells High School in San Antonio, Texas, in 1948,
Pat married her high school sweetheart, Frank Kuenstler, on September 4,
1948. When most women stayed home to raise a family, Pat combined her
dreams of marriage, motherhood, and education. Pat attended Abilene
Christian University, and she graduated from Texas Woman's University
with a Bachelor's of Sociology in 1965. She continued to pursue her
Masters of Art and her Doctorate of Philosophy, emphasizing Sociology,
Psychology, and Child Development. Pat continued her education and
became a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She was still working
with clients from the area and around the world until the week she died.
Pat and Frank also had five children together: Sheryl, Kimberley, Toy,
and Konrad. Pat lost a baby boy at birth on March 22, 1961. Pat was
deeply loved by her family. She is survived by her husband, Frank Lloyd
Kuenstler, of 73 years; daughter, Dr. Sheryl Ann Hamilton; daughter,
Kimberley Dean Ogilvie; daughter, Toy Ruth White; and son, Konrad Kirk
Kuenstler. Pat is also survived by sons-in-law, Mark Hamilton, Jack
Ogilvie, and Steve White; and daughter-in-law, Denise Kuenstler. Pat's
grandchildren and great-grandchildren are Shelby Ogilvie and her
husband, Jimmy Christoff; Haley Hamilton and her husband, Nick Flores
and their daughter, Hadley; Jason Ogilvie and his wife, Paige; Cade
Ogilvie and his wife, Brooke and their children, Madden, and Major; Abby
Hamilton, her son, Colt Kreck, her husband, Trevor Danielson, and their
daughters Dae Lee and River; Kali Kuenstler, her son, Ayden, her
daughter, Modesty, and her fiance', Louie Dovile; Karac Kuenstler, and
Klaus Kuenstler; and her daughter and granddaughter in-love, Jan and
Kathleen Scott. Pat is preceded in death by her infant son, Baby Boy
Kuenstler, her granddaughter, Eva Kuenstler, and great-grandson, Miles
Ogilvie. To list the host of her friends would take too long, but she
would want to remind you that "A friend loves at all times." Proverbs
17:17. Pat was loved deeply, and in turn, she loved deeply. If you knew
Dr. Pat Kuenstler, you knew her as a family member, a friend, teacher,
or counselor. She is already deeply missed, but the family does not
doubt that her legacy will live on through the lives she touched. The
Kuenstler family were charter members of Walnut Hill Church of Christ
when it opened its doors on February 5, 1956, and they are honored to
share this portion of her life with you here today. Dr. K, as her
students lovingly called her, lived to glorify God in everything she
did. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to
Anidaso, an organization that provides clean water, education, and
healthcare to rural villages in Ghana and Kenya at: anidaso.org/ or
Cambodian Christian Ministries, an organization founded to continue the
ministry of Jesus by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the
poorest of the poor in Cambodia's remote villages at
