OBITUARY

LEHMAN
ALICE MARIE, born February 16, 1919 in  Dallas, Texas and passed away March 1, 2003 in Dallas.  She served as a Wave in World War II and was stationed at Ward Island in Corpus Christi, receiving an honorable discharge at the close of the war.  After two years of educational studies, she was employed by various businesses last of which was an Architectural firm, Buford & Work, retiring after 16 yrs. of service.  She was a member of Oak Cliff lecture luncheon Club and attended Elmwood United Methodist Church.  She is survived by three sisters: Lillian Copeland of DeSoto, Texas; Ruth Combs of the Colony, and Betty Shafer of Richardson, Texas.  A brother William B. Lehman of Austin and several nieces and nephews.  Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Grapevine Historical Cemetery, Grapevine, Texas.
