Paul R Letot 9/21/1924 to 11/12/2012 Paul Letot, son of Oliver and Inez Letot. He grew up and lived on the land his grandfather settled on in 1874. He graduated from Carrollton High in 1942. Soon afterwards he joined the Merchant Marines during WWII. He is preceded in death by his wife Minnie L. Letot and two brothers, Oliver Jr and Augustus R. Letot. He is survived by a sister, Jean Letot Chamness and two sons, Ronald R. and Paul M. Letot. He also leaves four grandchildren, Melanie Letot Allison, Marc Oliver Letot, Elizabeth and Madelyn Letot. He was affectionately called pop-pop by his grandchildren. After retirement, he spent his time with the Methodist Ministries helping people around the world. He made many friends through his unselfishness and time. He revered and cherished his relationship with his extended family at AA and the American Legion Post 453. A Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Hwy Chapel, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy., Dallas, TX. Burial will follow at the Letot Family Cemetery in Calvary Hill Cemetery, Dallas, TX.
