OBITUARY
ALFRED LEVY
Born in Palma Soriano, Cuba, Jan. 5, 1925, he followed his parents and brother
Donald into lifelong ministry for Jesus Christ, beginning at 17 as a lay
preacher, and later as a full-time pastor, always helping the whole person's
spiritual and physical needs. Gone to glory Sept. 28, 2005. Alfred studied
engineering at Universidad de la Habana, and led the Import-Export Dept. at the
power company in Havana, until leaving Cuba in 1965. While leading Hispanic
ministries at several Baptist churches in Dallas and Carrollton, he worked at
the Southern Baptist Annuity Board, and earned a degree at Dallas Baptist
University. Alfred is survived by the love of his life, Raquel, wed January 17,
1952; and by children and spouses Alfredo and Rebecca Levy, Josefina and John
Davis, and Jorge Levy; and by grandchildren Matthew, Natalie and Annie Levy,
Brent and Brad Davis, and by countless lives he blessed. Viewing: Friday 5:00 -

Lane Baptist Church; interment following at
