Dorothy Berniece (Threlkeld) Lewis
January 26, 2018

Memorial services for Dorothy Bernice Richardson Lewis, 90, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Monday, January 29, 2018, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.
Dorothy Bernice Threlkeld was born May 10, 1927, in New Liberty, IL, to parents, Owen Vernon Threlkeld and Amy Ethel Mason. She was raised in Dallas and graduated from Carrollton High School. Dorothy married Max Ivey Richardson and they lived in Lewisville and raised their four boys. He passed away in 1998. She married Winfred Lewis in 1983, he preceded her in death in 1997. Dorothy lived most of her life in Lewisville and was employed with the Richardson Police Department. She moved to Canton in 2015. She loved painting, sewing, ceramics, reading and mosaics.
She is preceded in death by both husbands; brother, Jerry Threlkeld and sister, Edith Richardson.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Larry Richardson and wife, Terri, of Buda, Steve Richardson and Sheila Wells of Wills Point, Mitchell Richardson and wife, Betty, of Sierra Bonita, NM and Mark Richardson and wife, Teresa, of Wimberly; sister, Betty Jo Murray of Flower Mound; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
