OBITUARY
 
Jason Wayne Lindsay
August 20, 1979 - March 12, 2021

Jason Wayne Lindsay of Little Elm, Texas passed away March 12, 2021 at the age of 41. He was born on August 20, 1979 to John Laird Lindsay and Myrtis (Wigley) Lindsay in McKinney, Texas. Jason was a 1997 graduate of R. L. Turner High School in Farmers Branch, Texas. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 2005 from University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. Jason married Kristen Shoemaker on May 3, 2014 in Bells, Texas. He worked for Fifth Gear Auto in business development and previously worked for Community Impact Newspaper, Lewisville/Flower Mound/Highland Village. Jason was an Ambassador for Meals on Wheels program.

He is survived by his wife, Kristen Lindsay of Little Elm, Texas; children, Nolan Lindsay and Ellison Lindsay; parents, John and Elaine Lindsay; sister, Amy Riley and husband, Joe of Leonard, Texas; brother, Willie Lindsay and fiancé, Shannon of Fort Worth, Texas; nephew, Eli, niece, Jameson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Kally Shoemaker; sister-in-law, Lauren Shoemaker; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the funeral service.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Jason’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/jason-wayne-lindsay. After the service, the recorded live steam will be available for viewing at the same link location.

Should the maximum number of guests be reached, those who would like to honor Jason and show their support to his family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.
